Belt Program
At BJJ Gort, our Belt Program is built to reward consistency, commitment, and steady progress on the mats.
The programme provides a clear pathway through the belt ranks while keeping training focused and motivating. By encouraging regular attendance and long-term commitment, students develop strong habits and continue to improve week after week.
The Belt Program is open to both kids and adults who have completed a minimum of 6 classes with us. All students begin at White Belt and progress through the ranks based on dedication, consistency, and time spent training.
Whether you’re training for personal development, competition, or simply to get better at Jiu-Jitsu, our Belt Program offers a structured and supportive way to progress.

Competition Team
At BJJ Gort, our Competition Team mission is to help young athletes develop not just better Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu technique, but also confidence, character, and sportsmanship. Inspired by the values and structure of the Symmetry Jiu-Jitsu program, our team combines advanced skill development, competition strategy, physical conditioning, and mental preparation so students can perform with clarity and composure.
Throughout the season, members train together, learn competition rules, and grow through experience — both in practice competitions and real tournament environments — while building resilience, respect, and a passion for continuous improvement. Families and coaches partner to support every athlete, reinforcing positive behaviours, teamwork, and an enjoyment of learning along the way.
The Competition Team is open to our current students 8 years and older who attend at least two classes per week. Whether your child is preparing for competitions, sharpening their skills, or building confidence and resilience, the BJJ Gort Competition Team offers a structured, character-driven, and fun environment to grow as both an athlete and a person.
